Grades > Mental Health

The Covid-19 virus has widely spread throughout  the whole world. This has resulted to global school shut downs. Currently, over 1.2 billion children are out of their classroom. Nowadays, I can't really see the effectiveness of Online Learning to children. Why? Because they don't get to focus on their studies inside their homes. I mean, I understand that it's a global pandemic but we should remember that education is still a big factor in a community. Education is important, so we students together with our teachers should work hard to cope up with the studies. But Online Learning has many effects on students regarding mental health. It's not easy to study on your own. It's not easy to be mentally prepared during a synchronous session inside our home. It's not easy to understand the topics that are given to us by our teachers and expect  that after reading or watching the recorded videos we will instantly understand the topic.
Although we may seem to be okay in the outside but I can assure you that more than half of the students studying virtually are struggling to keep up the pace. I know some college students easily graduated because of Online Learning. But the question is, are they really ready to take on their jobs? Are they ready to graduate? How can we assure that all the students understood their courses?
